Objective

ZG Life was a project that originated from the Zillow career site re-design (that I was also assigned). The goal of the updated careers site was to showcase not only open roles at the company, but for the site to act as a recruitment tool itself; there came the birth of the ZG Life photography project. Zillow Group encompasses all companies, such as Zillow, Trulia, and StreetEasy (to name a few), across the entire continental U.S.

After reviewing the brief for the careers site, creating initial wireframes and speaking to stakeholders ... It was apparent that the use of photography was crucial to the design and objective. We wanted to sell Zillow Group.

I researched photographers around the country and discovered the ever-so-talented, David Dossett, based in Seattle, WA. David, Jackie Turner (a Zillow co-worker), and myself created our own brief for what we wanted the photography and videography to look like, as well as what we should capture. The three of us and the videographer came together and shot the Seattle location first as a "test run" of sorts, and then continued to shoot the rest of the ZG locations. Throughout the summer, I managed, art directed and produced the ZG Life photography project.
